Toddler Program
(18 months -3 years)
Exploration, discovery and creativity most aptly describe the activity one will find within our toddler environment. Our classroom space is specifically and beautifully prepared with the toddler’s innate curiosity, desire for independence and stature in mind. Toddler sized furniture and a wealth of sensory-motor materials encourage the child’s growing sense of independence while helping each child to develop physically and intellectually. A certified Montessori teacher provides warmth, nurturing and patience necessary to meet your child’s emotional and social needs.
In Montessori we believe that the young child’s mind is more like that of an acute observer or scientist, eager to learn, explore, try new things, and master new skills. With proper stimulation, the child’s ability to concentrate, absorb, and master new ideas and skills increases, and that the earlier they begin a program of intellectual, physical, sensory, and artistic education, the more dramatic the result.
